Bharat Automotive Pressings India Private Limited (BAPIPL) is an IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 certified automotive component manufacturing company, located at W-149, ‘S’ Block, MIDC, Bhosari, Pune – 411026, India.

The organization traces its origins to 1980, when a proprietary unit was established under the name Prakash Industries in Jamshedpur, operating as a subcontractor for electroplating services. In 1984, the company diversified into the manufacturing of sheet metal pressed automotive components for the Truck and Excavator divisions of Tata Motors, Jamshedpur.

In 1991, with the objective of continuing and strengthening its business association with Tata Motors Ltd., Pune, a new manufacturing unit was established at MIDC, Pune, under the name BBC Multifolds. Over the years, the company earned the status of a single-source supplier to leading OEMs for several critical components.

With sustained growth and expansion, the organization transitioned from a proprietary firm to a Private Limited Company, operating under the name Bharat Automotive Pressings India Private Limited. Since 2003, the company has successfully transformed from a family-managed enterprise into a professionally managed organization with structured systems and processes, catering to OEMs across the automotive, earthmoving, and agricultural sectors.

In recognition of its industrial excellence, the company was honoured with the Rashtriya Udyog Award in 1995 by the International Economic Forum.

Today, BAPIPL operates three independent manufacturing plants dedicated to sheet metal pressings and fabricated assemblies, located at MIDC Bhosari and Kuruli, Pune, Maharashtra. The company offers a single-window, end-to-end in-house facility covering tool and fixture design, manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, and final surface treatment.

To support operational excellence, BAPIPL is equipped with robust software systems for inventory management, production planning, dispatch control, and quality performance monitoring, ensuring consistency, traceability, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
